I'm not doing well.

This knee injury is draining me emotionally. I don't know WHY it's making me so damned emotional, but it is. I'm frustrated.

I got some motion back in my knee. Forty degrees worth. But, the muscles are atrophying, and it scares me. I know muscle atrophy is normal with a fracture like this, but still.

With my knee being able to bend, it kills me that I can't walk on it yet. The normal, reactionary part of me is going "If you can bend it, you should be able to walk on it." but the rational part of me is going "No, it's not healed. You can bend it, but no walking on it."

Yeah, I had surgery. No, there wasn't a cast, just a hinged brace.

I start PT next week.

I just want to feel normal again...I just want to walk again.

Before, I was riding the horse I lease 4 or 5 times a week.
